SPWS SCIENTIFIC CONCRETE SLAB ON TOP OF IT
The SPWS CONCRET SLAB-FOUNDATION SYSTEM is based generally on two layers of construction.
The layers wear itself, the concrete slabs, and the base layer.
Where soils with very low CBR exists we always advise the use of the patented component based on high density EPS.
This technology allows very high material savings, for example:
• Sanitation of natural ground where CBR is very low.
• Unnecessity for crushed run and other materials for bases;
• Unnecessity for gravel and other materials for sub bases ;
• Unnecessity for a lean concrete layer for reinforced slabs;
• Unnecessity for reinforced concrete and any fibbers;
• High durability of this technological solution avoiding the frequent maintenance operations and overcoating materials;
• Decreasing the concrete thickness slabs in about 15% to 20%
• No need for sealing the joints of the slabs.
