Equipment savings

The SPWS CONCRETE SLAB-FOUNDATION SYSTEM is based generally on two construction layers. The layer wears itself the concrete slabs and the base layer.

Facing soils with very low CBR we always advise for the base construction the use of the patented component of high density E.P.S.

Where the natural soil allows, the base layer may be spared, being only necessary the compacting and leveling of natural ground for supporting the slabs using the SPWS system of semi continuos concrete system.

All such decisions are based on specific project floors.

For construction of a conventional flexible paving solution generally are necessary 2 bituminous layers and 2 granular / crushed run layers.

For concrete traditional solution pavement, either with reinforced concrete or with load transfer bars, the base and sub-base layers shall be more and larger because such solution requires an almost perfect stiffness, once it does not accepts differential deformations of the natural ground.

Also we have in mind that for each layer is necessary equipment supply, transportation equipment into the job site, scattering equipment and compaction equipment.

Also to have in mind that in some cases the thickness of the layer requires the execution of two stages by dividing the total thickness for compaction plots.

For each layer which becomes unnecessary, savings in transportation, equipments, raw material, and man power costs can be quite significant.

USING THE SPWS SYSTEMS CAN SAVE A HUGE AMOUNT OF MONEY
